U Me Aur Hum. 4/5

What a beautiful lovestory of two people who looked beyond U and Me but looked at Hum.
For me the story was just perfect, leaving me with tears of happiness as I left the cinema hall and a smile on my lips.

The story of Piya and Ajay was unfolded in flashbacks and how 25 years later they are still fulfilling their wishes they made to one another,all those years ago.

The 1st half was very romantic, making one truly believe in love at first sight and the happily ever after. The second half was heavy and at times and it made me cry (not because I am soppy) but because one can't help but feel for them and hope for a happy ending.

The promos for this movie were superb (but at the same time I remembered somebody telling me once, all the best parts of the movies are in the promos ..!) The starcast looked good, the songs amazing, so yes I can honestly say, I was really looking forward to watching this movie.

Omg I haven't seen this many twist and turns since eating a jaleebi!! Who is killing who? why? when? where? what? I daren't even blink incase I missed something

The movie just left me a little confused and a bit deflated after all the hype, now I am not sure if that is good or bad, I get easily confused on the best of days, but this movie, not at all like I expected. I was expecting much.. much more.

Saif was gorgeous, best part of the movie for me (wow) . Akshay a little boring in his character for my liking, Katrina just so plain, like she was being forced to be there, pushed from scene to scene and Bipasha, reminded me of her Ajnabee charcter very much, stylish and sexy. Anil??what was he doing there?? He just made me laugh hahaha

Songs like I said before amazing, totally in love with the Atif Aslam song

So the bad guys win and money rules .. no comment ..! Watch it if you like fast cars, beautiful women and talk about £200 million as if its spending money.

race was a ho hum movie...

so so forgettable.. i wont even bother to watch it 2nd time

1.the emotions-the dramatic moments are absolutely amazing..the 3 scenes before the interval,the bench scene,abs death,abhis breakdown,climax,the opening bench sequence and many others are simply superb..the only serious part which I thought cud have been done better was the one when srk discloses his affair to preity..but besides that karan gets a 10/10 from me for all the emotional scenes involving abhi-rani,srk-preitysrk-rani and even that amitabhs one part after the rock n roll song..

2.comedy-subtle comedy is veyr good..dialogues like the ones mentioned below are great
rani-‘ek baar fail huye to kya hua..phirse karenge’
srk-‘kya shaadi’
or
rani-‘iss wedding anniversary pe unke liye kuch special karte hai’
srk-‘dono ko chod dete hai..kaafi special rahega’

but as much as I like the subtle comedy I hate the mainstream comedy equally..the blackbeast scene,hunter,massage ones were embarrassingly bad and completely took away from the seriousness of the movie..if that time was used to set up the love story between srk and rani the subsequent emotional sceneswhich unfolded later wud have been even more impactful..i thot this was the only part where karan faltered as he succumbed to the commercial pressures and went offtrack..

3.music-title song,tumhi dekho na and mitwa were superb while the other 2 were ho hum.

4.performance-superlative performances from every1..if I have to rank them in order of preference it wud be this way
1.abhi
2.preity
3.srk/ab
4.rani

Overall-just short of a classic and cud have easily been one had it not been for some stupid comedy in the first half..anywayz it is yet among my top 5 srk films
