Re: Rate the last movie you saw
Heroes---a well made flick for the family...the basic theme of the story of Sohail and Vatsal can be said to be inspired from The Motorcycle Diaries..but that apart Samir Karnik have a winner here...I can sense the family audience shedding loads of tears during the movie...Karnik have chosen a very different story about which you can say that it is first of its kind in bollywood...patriotism in a different flavor...movies strongest asset is the story of the families of the soldiers who have lost their son..their husband...their father and brother...thinking about how their life is going on after they have lost their loved ones moves you....that said the movie have faults as well which restricts it from being great/classic movie...like Sunny's fight in the pub...and some cliched moments here and there...performances are good....Zinta stealing the show with her most restrained performance in recent years...Salman proves that he can act too if he wants to...Sunny is good apart from couple of sequences where he goes overboard...Mithun is good in his short role...Bobby is refreshing in his cameo which I am sure people would have loved if he have got some more screen time...the movie ends with classic line.."you don't have to be a soldier to love your country"...I expected this movie to be average (in range of 2.5/5)...specially what more you can expect from the director of Kyun ho gaya na and Nanhe Jaisalmer...but it turned out to be the biggest surprise of the year from bollywood...it deserves success at box office and I hope it gets...a must watch specially for the family audience...3.5/5

Re: Rate the last movie you saw
good review rahul..
actually i believe sameer karnik is an underrated director.. he deserves more success than what what he has actually got.. kyun ho gaya naa was not a bad film.. it was simple and light on the nerves.. and nane jaisalmer also has its share of admirers though it was a washout..

Laaga Chunri me dhaag: hmmm, despite a great picturisation theres nothing much to watch! I think its Konkana's weakest casting! Rani looks good. 2/5
Aaja Nachle: Again a boring flick. Mads looks absolutely ravishing and dance movements fantastic. But whats it actually! grrr. 2/5

Re: Rate the last movie you saw
Golmaal Returns--very much disappointing....Golmaal wasn't any classic comedy but it was atleast funny....but this one tries too hard to be funny but falls flat most of the time...there doesn't seem anything natural...all characters trying too hard to make you laugh but you don't...first half is pretty bad...2nd half is ok...at beginning Tushar's oya oye gunga act is fine then its unbearable...performance wise there is nothing to be raved about from anyone...Ajay is miscast as he is more serious than funny...and the worst part is Arshad's role is kept too short....he is such a natural actor and whenever he comes across he brings smiles if not laughter....2/5

Re: Rate the last movie you saw
i actually happend to see jannat on utv movies recently..and fell asleep in between..to get ur right in the sad ending.. emraan was cool the way he wooed that girl in beginning, like i think it was pranay, told me..he is good when he plays that obsessive kind, or the unscrupulous bookie, the moment he tried to bcom a good guy kind of lost the interest for me..

Re: Rate the last movie you saw
The last movie I watched was Fool's Gold. It is a comedy-adventure film that involves lead actors hunting for the treasure that is found underwater. I rate the movie 8, with 10 being the highest and 1 being the lowest.
