Written by Phalke award winner lyricist - Pradeep, long before any of us contributors was born.. in 1942.

Days of British Rule in India. Gandhi & party had brought about a stir - an awakening and print media was doing its best in adding fuel to fire. But cinema was a most most powerful medium to spread a new 'Andolan'.

Pradeep wrote ....

And to avoid Censorship by the Gore Log, the writer Pradeep cleverly used in the stanzas, words like " keep off you Germans and Japanese " , to fool the Britishers, who were fighting the World War with them. When they realised, it was too late. Not to mention, Pradeep went underground for weeks !
