for me-
1.jtyjn-its the best boy-girl romantic movie of the last 2-3 years.. there is not a single aspect abt this movie which i dont like..music,comedy,acting..the overall feel..everything is perfect..special mention for the music..perhaps the best part of 2008..and what make this film even more special are the endearing performances,not only by the lead actors but also by the support cast..genelia was extremely sincere..wud rate it in top 3 for the female category this year..and imran wud get my vote as the best debutant..

2.wednesday-comes a close second..probably a better movie than jtyjn..but lacks repeat value and some how jtyjns charm is irresistable..nonetheless a brilliant cinematic experience..it had a novel concept and the execution was superb..the short legnth makes it even more gripping and there is not a single dull moment.. best aspects of this film were the performances of its 2 main leads-anupam and naseer..i really wish naseers act gets some recognition at the awards..knowing our awards best actor is ruled out but shud be given atleast a critics..

3.fashion-i was quite surprised to see the movie getting a mixed response..yes it was tad bit long in the second half..but otherwise a great watch....really succeeded in transporting u to that glam world..performances were top notch with priyanka giving her best since aitraaz and arguably the finest of the year..special mention for the background music..played a crucial part in giving that required atmosphere which this sort of a movie wud demand..

4.race-amongst the most unpredictable thrilers i have seen..u just cant guess the next twist..and i dont know if this is a merit or a flaw but there were so many turns that by the time the movie ended u had no idea what u had seen in the start..
Talking abt acting saif,bipasha and anil were the standout performers..sadly akshaye was a letdown..it had extremely appealing songs too but equally bad placement..somehow they just didnt fit into the narrative..apart from that nothing to complain..

5.dostana-the comedy in the first half was hilarious..reminded me of khnh..but unlike the 2003 classic this didnt have as strong a script..khnh had many emotional moments..however the serious scenes out here hardly have any impact..also if khnh did not exist this movie wud have got far more appreciation coz khnh introduced something different..here it was an exaggeration of something witnessed before..and finally its tough to strech one randomn idea into a full fledged film..nevertheless the chemistry shared by the main actors compensates for some of its flaws..

i ddnt find jtyjn that gr8...the best films for me wud b..rock on, a wednesay, aamir, loved 1920 too..and then mayb bachna ae haseeno..

My friends didnt like Bachna, they say its begining is too kiddish and dragging so I am yet in a confused mind.
